Spear to head American Trucking Associations

Former ATA lobbyist to succeed Bill Graves, who is retiring after leading group for 13 years Spear The American Trucking Associations has appointed former lobbyist Chris Spear as its next president and CEO, effective July 9. He will replace Bill Graves, who is retiring after having led the $48 million-revenue association for 13 years. Spear currently is vice president of government affairs for Hyundai Motor Co., a position he has held since October. Before that, he was ATA's senior vice president of legislative affairs for fewer than two years.
